The new GPhC CPD Rules and Framework come into effect on 2nd of July 2011. After this date, if you fail to respond to a CPD call letter (and reminders) from GPhC you will receive a letter from the Registrar giving you 28 days notice of the intention to remove you from the register.
Pharmacy bodies have joined together to represent community pharmacy at the Local Government Association’s (LGA) national conference this week.
The LGA is a voluntary lobbying organisation which acts as the voice of the local government sector.
This year its conference is based around the theme of Localism Works and is being held at the ICC in Birmingham from 28th-30th June.
A new way of saving money when it comes to prescription medicines has been proposed by a Northern Ireland Consultant, Dr Sara Hedderwick.
Speaking at the annual conference of the BMA, Dr Hedderwick suggested that unused prescription medicine could be re-dispensed to save money and prevent it from simply going to waste.
